Traditional Beef Bulgogi

  • 1 (12 oz) package Suji’s Korean Cuisine Savory Beef Bulgogi

  • 3 cups ­ steamed white rice

  • 1 cup ­ carrot, peeled and cut into ⅛” x 2” strips or use pre­shredded carrots

  • 1 cup ­ yellow onion, peeled and cut into thin strips

  • ½ cup ­ scallions, washed and cut into 2” strips

  • 2 T ­ vegetable oil

  • 1 t ­ toasted sesame seeds

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add the vegetable oil, onions, scallions and carrots. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until they are tender, stirring regularly. Massage the bulgogi in the bag for about 20 seconds to separate the meat. Empty the package into the skillet and cook over medium high heat for 5 minutes, or until the meat is warmed through and the sauce has thickened slightly. Place on a serving plate or bowl and top with the toasted sesame seeds. Serve along with steamed rice. Serve immediately. Serves 3-4.
